Taurus G2C

Taurus G2C is a durable and reliable semi-auto pistol, offered at a great price point. The compact frame lends the pistol for concealed carry use. The G2C utilizes a striker-fired mechanism, with a trigger safety and a manual thumb safety. The Taurus Security System (TSS) makes the pistol inoperable with a keyed lock. A fixed front sight with an adjustable rear sight allows giving you a 3-dot sight configuration for rapid deployment.

The polymer frame has an integral accessory rail for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. Aggressive texturing on the grip enhances control, and melted edges enhance concealability. A double-stack magazine provides plenty of firepower in a compact handgun. Taurus G2C Semi-Auto Pistol field strips easily for cleaning and maintenance.

The G2S models come with either a matte black or matte stainless slide. The frame can be one of several colors including purple, cyan, gray, matte black, etc.

What’s particularly nice is the trio of safety features. These include a visual loaded chamber indicator, trigger safety and a striker block safety. The G2C also packs another interesting and unusual feature: that’s a restrike capability. Got a round that doesn’t fire? Instead of racking the gun and ejecting the round like you would on almost any other semi-automatic, just pull the trigger again. Speaking of which, trigger pull is 5 to 9 pounds.

The frame has some nice finger recesses on each side. One is above the front of the trigger guard. Taurus calls this one the Taurus Memory Pad. Another is atop the grip. The grip mixes smooth surfaces with aggressive textured zones. It’s a good look, and it functions well providing the right grip when you need it.
